What is wrong with some people. This guy punches the waitress and it's a heavy punch, not a light one. He is not a small guy either. He is a regular at the restaurant and it's all on video so I have no doubt he will be caught. It was pretty brutal. He needs to be locked up for quite a while.

Without making this political or a gun issue, it does appear the gun stopped the thug in his tracks. He retreated immediately so showing a weapon did stop him from escalating his violent outburst.
Does anyone know if he was ever arrested for this?

Well, when I went to public school as a child and was hit by a boy I was told by every teacher I complained to that boys hit girls because they like them and scolded for complaining about it. So, based upon lessons the public school system was 'teaching' me, this guy was in love.

No, I prefer far less guns. Consider the number of deaths in the US from guns compared to other countries. It isn't rocket science. Look at the other countries, less guns, less death by guns. Having the gun did not prevent the attack.

It definitely prevented it from escalating. That guy was out of control. It was an equalizer against a bully who was not going to back down.
