You know... I try to defend Florida sometimes with all of the wacky news stories... But... yeah...

According to link, the meth killed him. Gator was just reacting to instinct. Hope they don't try to hurt the gator.
As for the man, a sad addiction, but not gators' fault.

In a case like that do you suppose the drugs in the guys system might have made the animal sick after eating him?

Florida again. It wasn’t the gators fault, he was doing what gators do. This meth head had nothing better to do in life than get wasted, so he took himself out of the population, and the gator obliged by cleaning up.

There once was a fellow named Ford
Who received a Darwin award
He used too much meth
And it caused his death
Then a gator claimed the reward.

That gator will probably get sick from ingesting the meth. I feel bad for it.

There sure is a lot of compassion here right around the holidays. None of knew this man or what led him down this path of self destruction. This story doesn't mention that he harmed anyone, nor does it give any indication of what type of person he was. All we know is that he died of a drug overdose, something that happens to folks from all walks of life. This was someone's son, and possibly someone's brother or father.

Am I supposed to feel sad for him?
