This story is out of ATL and it really is about what we would do for our loved ones. I'm wondering if she was pushed intentionally or just "bumped" onto the tracks?

So the guy who pushed her actually was punching and hitting people and had knocked the mother out with a punch, seems like hes facing some serious charges now.

Too bad they put his ugly face on the same Twitter page with the women & her mom. Really ruins the entire picture.

I hope they give him a psych evaluation. This brings back memories of Kendra Webdale being pushed off an N train platform in NYC in 1999, by a schizophrenic who was off his meds.

Uck, what a horrible story.

Hopefully, if convicted, this creep is locked-up for a very long time.

The video of her being trapped underneath the MARTA is just awful, I was just in ATL on vacation and we even considered taking the train on our downtown day. But I just don't like having to sit my kids next to potential crazies. I just prefer to take my chances in my own car I suppose.

The answer is already in the article you linked:

“We were downstairs and a man just started punching people, just going crazy. ... He was punching everybody, he hit the girl in the back of the head for no reason,”
