To me, it's like walking through a nightmare. Constant flashing lights, people trying to sell you something every five feet, crowds of people, the creepy costumed characters, chain restaurants...it's not representative of New York. It's more like Disney World on a bad trip.

I love Times Square. Busy, exciting, lots of fun. Certainly not “hell”. Love being in the city at Christmas, and Times Square is always a favorite. But no desire to ever be there at New Years.
