This is how another owner in Brooklyn handled a comparatively calm customer all over a stolen snickers bar.... They seemingly did not care about the damage to their store (as they were the ones causing it) or retaliation.... So the woman in the OP was lucky the business owner was respectful and mild-mannered.

Oh, I would have definitely handled it the same way the store owner did. She was very smart, calm and collected, and lived to see another day.

I'm just saying there are plenty of examples on YouTube where store owners, particularly Asian store owners, would have beaten the suspect up or worse. They seem to have no fear of thugs. In fact, the outcome for the Asian store owners is that they have been charged with assault or in some cases murder.

My point is, while you and I would be passive and not want to deal with a suspect like that; Asian store owners do not hold that same fear and the lady would have likely been beat up or worse for what she did if she had tried that in one of their stores.
