Glad she was fired. It didn't look to me like he was the ugly one.

How ironic...

A cruel taunt by someone who might claim she gets poor treatment and insults because of her appearance. All handled with dignity and restraint by the victim. Who's the ugly one now?

Silly joke. Sophomoric and silly, but it probably should have been something where the guy laughed it off with the security guard, and he zings her a bit too, both people laugh and move on. Instead, he reports her because culturally speaking, you can't joke like that with a lot of white people. At least he referenced general white people fragility in his explanation for why he reported her.

It doesn't look like that chick was all that attached to that particular job. I guess if you're gonna get fired you may as well amuse yourself on your way there.

Some of the ugliest people (on the inside) are often first to call someone else ugly.

I'm white and I call myself ugly so I'm not sure where your reference comes from. Can you explain that one a little better?

No. She insisted he read the note. She wanted to see his reaction when he opened it. “Culturally speaking” you should not be calling strangers ugly. Period.

It might meet the definition of a joke/prank if the two had been bantering before. A complete stranger met immediately after one of the more frustrating, physically humiliating situations (post body scan/search) of the modern day? No way.

You can call yourself that all you want, but I wouldn't go around calling any person of another race ugly (or my own), and then laughing about it without expecting some consequences, perhaps even some sort of physical retaliation.
