Tale old as time but yet another cautionary story.

"The longtime caretaker of an ailing Manhattan real estate billionaire “jealously manipulated” him before whisking him to Russia and letting him rot — so she could get her hands on a $2 million inheritance, according to a lawsuit.

The tragic death of Allan H. Goldman Jan. 15, 2022 came after Natalia Vostrikova allegedly spent years siphoning off a total of $8.2 million of his money, his family contended in court papers."

She took 8 million. Why wouldn't she keep him alive?

It's easy for the son to accuse her of doing wrong. Where was he while they were in Russia?

It's interesting that his younger sister is battling his kids.

My friends husband died from Parkinson's about 2 years ago. He was in a nursing home for the last 10 or so years, diagnosed at age 61. I don't know how he didn't get COVID because there were cases in his nursing home. The Parkinson's stole his life. It was very sad seeing photos of him bedridden for the last four or so years before he died. He withered away to almost nothing.

Goldman was 78 according to the article, I'm not seeing how long he had Parkinson's. It's not a kind illness.

Quote:
Goldman was in a “severely deteriorated” state when he died at age 78 of multiple organ failure, following a years-long battle with Parkinson’s disease, according to the Nassau Supreme Court lawsuit brought by his eldest son, Steven Gurney-Goldman, who is executor of Allan’s estate.

Maybe she's tired of taking care of him, and she's older herself and wants an early retirement with a lot of money.
