Mark Coleman was a legend UFC fighter in the 1990's. Apparently he was visiting his parents when he woke to his dog barking because the house was on fire. He got his parents out and ran back in to save the dog but wasn't able to. Now he is in critical condition with smoke inhalation. I have read that people can seem to be fine right after the fire, but quickly go downhill lungs begin to swell up.

This reminded me that I need to put in new smoke detectors right now only have two likely older then 10 years. I have been researching the new wireless brands if one goes off they all go off.

That is incredibly sad. He still looks to be in very good shape. I hope he recovers quickly and completely from this and it's good that his parents are safe. Hammer is a hero for alerting his dad to the fire like that. Dogs really are the best.

I Googled him because I thought I knew who he was but wasn't sure. Apparently, he's had his fair share of health issues, including a heart attack a few years back.

If you watched UFC back in the 90's Coleman, Don Frye, Tank Abbot and the man who really could be called a pioneer Royce Gracie who started it all.
