its been awhile since I posted and I am pretty much using the bike as intended...to go grocery shopping, library, PO, small errands. and am better at doing hills and such. I think ive aclimatized to riding now. I do a lot of swimming too, so both combined helps, I think.
Ive also incorporated the bike into my hiking, so I can do a combined bike/hike where I cycle to a forest preserve and go on a hike and then bike back...about 1 hour total for quick after-work bike/hike, and then do some swimming, about 1/2 hour of swimming. So this is great that I can work time for both hiking and swimming in due to the bike.
I'm also doing some longer-distance Sunday Drives on the bike trails around here. About 20 -25 miles for a Sunday ride. This is probably the limit for me as I do feel tuckered out & sore after these.
