I guess their show was 7/3 and I missed it.

Are there any fireworks shows that are today? (7/4) in or near Addison/Plano/Frisco/Richardson?

Richardson and Plano's are tonight. But both could be canceled due to weather so definitely check before heading out. Not sure about Richardson, but I think I read Plano has a makeup date on the 5th if they do get rained out.

why would they do a fireworks show on the 3rd? Pretty much everyone is off work Monday.

they do a big thing with fireworks--have acres of land and fireworks booths for people to buy their own and let them use the field to set them off --
the city makes like 4 MILLION dollars from doing that each year

towns choose when they want to do theirs

Farmer's Branch which is close to Addison did theirs last night as well
Bedford's is tonight and so is Hurst's but Southlake had theirs yesterday...
makes it nice for people who want to do one Saturday and one Sunday
