Hi!
My husband and I are moving to Dallas!!!! We are super excited about it and I love the city!

His work will be near the Dallas PArkway/George Bush Turnpike intersection.. in that general area so we are looking for apartments in that area either Plano or Addison. Any good recommendations?

Our specifications are:
- 2Bd/2Bath
- balcony
- updated/renovated
- good ameneties like workout facility, pool
- near shopping..
- rent around $1000

Also safety wise if there is anyplace we should avoid, let me know.

There are so many choices when I google so I am looking for recommendations.. or if there's any property I should avoid, that would be good to know as well!! Thanks!

-Dee

There is a nice yet affordable apartment complex on Frankford Road just west of Coit. It's an AMLI complex. My friend lives there and I think is paying in the $900 range for a huge 2/2 with garage. The complex has several pools, volleyball, etc.

It is one block from George Bush so very close commute. Close to Central Market & West Plano for more upscale shopping but also close to the Coit & Campbell intersection where there is a Home Goods, Sprouts, and many "big box" retailers.

I definitely second AMLI. All their apartments in Dallas no matter where in the Metroplex are the best.
