My old decorator now lives in NC, and she could do that.

But, when I do move, I really want to hand most of it off to a decorator, and let them do the shopping, etc. So, I want someone local to Dallas. Time will be very limited for me, so it is worth it to me to have a person who can come to my house, etc.

As I just posted in another Dallas thread, it's fine to discuss this topic as long as it applies to Dallas-specific decorators, but when you begin discussing decor options, colors, etc., it's time to move your questions/comments to the House Forum and/or the Home Interior Design and Decorating Forum, as this Dallas relocation forum is strictly for Dallas area related queries.
