I have done a lot in regards to the areas around Dallas, what to expect regarding nightlife, cost of living, what areas have to offer, character, personality etc...

Commutes are hard to get a decent grasp on without seeing/experiencing it yourself. The only common theme that i've noticed, is that the traffic is bad...to say the least.

If the commute is just around 30+-minutes, I have no problem with that.

At the moment, I'm considering a place in Post Worthington...any added insight into that complex/area would also be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again.
If that's what you're looking for and have the bucks then you're already satisfied. You're a couple of blocks off Maple Ave. Take that to Oak Lawn Ave to I-35.

You might like Las Colinas. There are a fair amount of young professionals there. It's kind of urban-like with a walkable center with bars, restaurants, etc.

Las Colinas is nice, but doesn't have nearly the nightlife of uptown/downtown.

THIS. Same for Addison.

If OP wants to live in Uptown and is ok with a 30ish minute drive, why push him into places that don't even offer close to what Uptown does for young professionals?
