Hi, I'm going to see Coldplay/Robyn tonight at the American Airlines Center, and I need help finding a place to park. I really don't wanna pay $20 at AAC. Where's some places to park closeby and easy to find?

Also at a venue like this, when's a good time to be there for good parking (concert starts at 7:00PM)? Thanks.

Isn't the lot on Houston right behind House of Blues only $10? Or do they raise it when there's something at AAC? There's also a lot in Victory Park (across from the W) that someone told me was $5 but, again, that may be only on non-AAC event nights.

I've also walked with friends from Uptown (free street parking, just watch for some streets with parking restrictions). Park in Uptown, take the trolley down McKinney to the stop near the Ritz Carlton/Cresent. And then walk the few blocks over to the AAC. If it's a group of you, that actually be kind of fun. Grab dinner/drinks before in Uptown, take the trolley, and walk.

Thanks for the replies, took all of them into consideration. When I looked around while driving, I saw a $10 surface lot a few blocks south of AAC. Awesome : D

Definitely ride DART. That's the easy way to get to AAC.
