Does anyone have information about hospital locations/quality in the Prosper/Frisco area? What about other health care like doctors and specialists?

My wife was in rehab for almost 3 weeks in Baylor Rehab of Frisco. It is located on Legancy just south of Warren in Frisco. She had a great experience there. Awesome caring professionals and a nice new facility with good food, and she is a very picky eater so coming from her it means a lot.

We do not use Doctors in this area however.

I will second just about anything related to Baylor. We've used the facility in Frisco and we currently use Dallas.

Do you all feel you have enough options/variety when choosing a hospital and or doctor/specialist? Specifically if you don't like one do you feel there are many others to choose from? As well as hospitals?

There aren't many in the immediate area of Frisco/Prosper, but Plano has several options and isn't that far away. For major things, the big hospitals in Dallas are truly world class.

Im in West Plano and have a lot of great MD and Hospital options here and in DT Dallas. My wife has a complicated health condition so we use MDs in Baylor DT. She was in the hospital Baylor in Plano before Frisco Baylor rehab and we would use that facility again without hesitation. Her Baylor related MDs can get access to her records and results so we get a great caring local hospital in emergency with access by all her docs as needed

I live in Frisco and I've never had any trouble finding a wealth of doctors for any need within the city. Most of my doctors have rights at several hospitals. My OB/GYN has offices right next to Baylor Frisco and Plano Medical Center.

Frisco has 2 large hospitals on either side; Baylor Frisco on the west side and Centennial on the east. I've heard mixed reviews about Centennial but Baylor usually gets great reviews. There is also a new Forest Park Medical Center off DNT/Main. I don't belive it offers as many things as the other two (like labor/delivery), but there are some things they specialize in.

Also, there is a new hospital in McKinney off 380 I believe, which might work as well. I'm not as familiar with that hospital though.

That's a Baylor on HWy 380 near McKinney. Frisco has a lot of doctors, almost everything you can think of in terms of specialities. Plano's Texas Health is about 20 min. south on DNT from the northern edge of Frisco for another choice.

The Prosper/Frisco area is close to a number of major hospitals as many posters have already stated.Baylor Frisco reminds me of walking into a hotel, one of the most aesthetically pleasing hospitals I have ever been in.

Baylor I guess is becoming sort of the "premier/posh" hospitals around. My wife and I had our first kiddo there(Baylor Dallas) just 16 months ago and it was unbelievably nice. The personal room bathrooms had heated towel racks.....REALLY?!?!?! Pics below are from the delivery room(or suite if you ask me).
