Can anyone tell me which directions the traffic flows on the major roadways in Plano during the morning and rush hour times? I'm looking for an apartment so I'd like to find one where I drive against the traffic to work. I'll be driving to E. Plano pkwy and Shiloh Rd.

From north to south is definitely the worst.

Traffic is worst between 6:30 and 9:00 am, and 4:00 - 6:30 pm. If you're on any main roads "in" Plano, there are usually several school zones as well.

Traffic flows towards Dallas.

Then you want to be anywhere west of Shiloh Rd... or, even south of E. Plano Pkwy on Shiloh... because going north up Shiloh wouldn't be a problem either. The majority of commuter traffic in the a.m. is north-to-south on both the Tollway and I75 and east-to-west on 190 which is just south of Plano Pkwy and vice-versa in the evenings, so you would want to be moving east in the a.m and/or north to avoid the traffic rush.

Default Thank you

I think I've settled on some apartments at Ohio Dr and West Park or some at Coit and West 15th. Any opinions about these area? It looks like that gets me going East in the mornings and hopefully against traffic. But I live in Austin right now, so how much worse could it be?
