50's Diners? (Dallas, Plano, Carrollton: to rent, how much, pharmacy)

My little lady is going to have a birthday really soon and we have decided it would be so much fun to have a 50's sock hop party. We though like to know what is out there in big D, north Dallas, Plano, Allen, Frisco and Mckinney.

Like a restaurant? Or a place to rent out and decorate and cater? There is the Purple Cow but I don't think that would fit. ?? But maybe, depending on what you want. I can't really think of any around here. Maybe one of the pharmacy places that still has the old soda fountain and all, isn't there one in downtown McKinney and one in Carrollton? See about renting it out for the evening. If you want a place to rent out and can cater and all there is a new place in Plano that I have been to called The Summit Ballrooms. They had all different sizes of rooms available and lists of caterers. Have a dj or a band and such. Guess that depends on how big of a crowd you are going to have and how much you want to spend.
