We got lost for some time in garland today so we were not very effective She liked the sizes of the lots at hidden creek. I notice that lots of homes have the alleys here. Is that a preferred thing in texas ? On the east coast everyone wants the backyard space for privacy.

Let me get out the Sunday New Home edition from last weeks paper and see what other new areas are out in this direction along N. Garland Ave/North Star, Murphy and Renner Roads. There are several all up in that area but I just don't keep up with them that much.

Most neighborhoods have the alleys (in the last 30+ years anyway around Dallas). Some developers try to get front entry but the straight front entry garages are usually in the lower end price ranges, cheap land and it is cheaper to not have the alley. Some cities really fight it though. Then the sharing of a back fence and all can sometimes be an issue w/ some. Around golf course communities and such more have the j-swing front entry garages.
