New dad here. I'm scoping some areas out and Plano looks like a safe place to raise a family with a low cost of living. I hear that jobs are plentiful in the DFW area, but what about Plano and the surrounding 15 miles specifically? Of course I'm talking about decent paying jobs ($60k+)

I have 5 years enterprise experience, good references, and am pretty decent at what I do. The caveat is that I am introverted and not the best at interviews - especially phone interviews.

So, what say c-d Dallas?

First of all congratulations!!
There are plenty of jobs in the areas you are looking at.. The pay will vary according to your specific skillset and its demand.. most jobs do pay more than 60k, some 100k+...
Unfortunately, the interview process is unavoidable... companies as much as wanting to test your skills, also want to see if you are enthusiastic about the role..
I suggest start the process by getting your resume out there and you will see improvement after each interview... sometimes it takes 2-3 interviews to actually get going from a verbal communication stand point.

Once you decide on what you're doing, feel free to send me your resume and I'll see if you look like a good fit at my organization.
