Seriously doubtful. You'll likely get charged with Cruelty to Animals if you get caught.

It's only legal to shoot bunnies that have horns, the ones they call jackalopes.

Typically two reasons:
  1. They have a serious case of mental issues and need an outlet to prevent from shooting people. In which case I would recommend psychological counseling rather than killing innocent animals that are not harming anyone!
  2. Due to this economy many people are looking for ways to feed their family. Rabbit is very edible and a good way to reduce the grocery bill. In addition if they properly skinned and cured the hides they can be sold for additional money to help pay bills. If this is the case I would also recommend that you bring your story to the news media to see if we can not help shame our worthless government leaders into doing the job they were voted in for instead of lining their pockets at the peoples expense.

This is a perfectly normal question for an Aggie. Frankly, I'm thankful he only wants to shoot them!

I noticed the name as well and suspected it was an Aggie alumni. Surprising someone from such a university would ask this.

With mental issues it starts with shooting. It then progressing to catching them live, wrapping them in electrical tape and stuffing them in a microwave. From their they progress to people!

Our neighborhood is overrun with bunnies. I've hung out with neighbors who have speculated about whether we can shoot them.
