I recently visited this jewellery store in Dallas to shop for some items. Surprisingly found out they were forcing you to give them 5 star reviews in Google and Facebook likes as well. I told them I will do it later, but they wont let me leave and was making up BS like you will forget later and so do it now itself and started asking me to login my FB and like their page and blah blah.

Obviously they are not an American store and following these type of malpractices. I looked them up on google and found over 2k high end reviews and now I know how. Found several poor reviews stating the same experience I had as well.

Is there anything you could do to expose these kind of sh&&&& business practices?

They didn’t force you to do anything. They pressured you - there’s a huge difference.

Simply state your experience in your review.

They even tried to grab my phone and select in the 5 star ratings. How dare they do such things to get more business? People go to their store reading reviews and if this is how they earn good ratings, whats the point?

Simply state your experience in your review. Then go relax and enjoy your jewelry.

Tell them to go to hell and walk out. If they try to keep you from leaving, call 911.

Right? That would be one way to expose a store's "malpractice" and give a 5 "start" review.

I've never trusted online reviews....good or bad.
Lots of manipulation like this and I don't trust other people's standards.
