Not sure what are you looking for? Do you have the option to pick premium economy just for one leg or are you asking for premium economy in general?

Yes - they do offer a meal (sandwich and chips). Flight was nice and clean and the food was good. Entertainment options were good as well

Not sure about premium seating as I was in the regular economy section. It wouldn't be much different than other long local flights. Even in the regular economy section, I was comfortable throughout the flight.

I went during the summer but couldn't find a straight-shot from DFW to Honolulu. We ended up connecting at LAX on the way to HNL and then in Salt Lake City on the way back. Lots of entertainment options each way though, but I just downloaded Netflix movies onto my phone and watched that in airplane mode.

While back in the day you got food on the route, I know AA had stopped during Covid food service in any economy. We did this route last March and there was no food....not sure if they have brought it back yet. Nowadays, all the newer AA flights just allow you to bring your own device and connect to all entertainment options that way...

This is an international configured 787 though. There should be in-seat IFE especially in Premium Economy. I've flown Premium Economy from London before on AA (same seat), and it's a pretty comfy ride even for the 10 hour journey.

Can't speak for food though. I've never flown to Hawaii and my preferred airline is UA.

I would have very low expectations - they are just now adding back meals.
