Interesting...I assumed they mailed those out on the same day they send emails out so that everyone finds out on the same day.

And now I'm hoping to get a package in the next 2 days LOL

Anyone else surprised by what SSS estimated their family contribution should be? They said we should be able to cover the full tuition amount and the only reason I can think of is because we have a 6 month emergency fund in case of job loss. It was so specific in asking for your budget information - I hope the schools look at the full "parents financial statement" and not just the "family contribution report".

If you have 529 accounts they might take those into account now that you can use them to pay private school tuition.

No - I can't remember for sure but I think I remember hearing that it only becomes locked when awards are dispersed.
