I don't see a single post in that thread where anybody claims they love everything south of 30. I do not see where anyone claims that the entire area south of 30 is Utopic.

I stand by my statement that you posted a blatant lie.

That's not a very great area at all but there use to be some banging parties at East Side House.

That's on the south side of Munger, I think. It *might* be ok. We used to live off Beacon and East Side and contrary to what most people believe in terms of crime in the area, we never had problems in the 6-7 yrs we lived there.

My cousin used to live in a neighborhood at Jim Miller and south of Scyene, right across from the Keaton Golf Course. What a beautiful neigbhorhood and a lot of the homes have seen major renovations. I don't know the stats for that neighborhood, but it always felt peaceful. If there was crime there, I would imagine it was of the property variety. Visually, just a really pretty place. Bluffs, tall trees and very hilly. It surprises that places like that aren't just totally taken over by McMansions.

That's the Piedmont neighborhood. We take golf lessons from Keeton Park. The terrain down there is nice.

Isn't 4000 East Side Ave more of an industrial area? A friend has a business over there. I am not sure there is much residential. Maybe I am wrong.
