Hi guys, I have a question, I hope someone can help me. I'm from California and I want to sell my car. A guy who is interested in buying it said he wanted to test drive it, so I asked him for his driver's license and it's from Texas. He was good driving and seemed educated, but I'm concerned if the license is fake. The layout of my license from California is larger from left to right, like a credit card, but the one he showed me is larger from top to bottom. I was googling the layout for the driver's licenses in Texas and they seem to be the same, like credit cards, but I don't know if older versions were different.

Can someone tell me if the orientation is an indication of the license being fake, what else can I look for to see if it's fake. I'm planning on selling him the car tomorrow. It's the first time I sell a car so I'm kind of worried about this kind of things.

Thanks for your answer, it will really help me a lot,

I think it means he's under 21... No adult beverages.

Yep, that's how my 18 yo son's TX license is laid out, his picture is in the bottom 3rd of the license, vertically.
