I had some friends for Barcelona that stayed for a month and they ended up staying along Hwy35 where there are various extended stay hotels. They were nice. He had no complaints.

i think studio motel 6 in dallas have extend stay, weekly rate is $199 plus tax with a small kitchen, and i remember monthly rate is is $600 plus tax. because i do not want to commit a contract when i first come to dallas, i check with them also. but i manage to find a home that i can stay on a month to month without contract basis.

yep, Vacations rental.com is one place and they are usually very inexpensive plus there are several "extended stay" hotel types but as for any Motel 6 type, I would be a little leary..
