Can anyone recommend a good cosmetic surgeon in the Southlake area or in Dallas?

Maybe some nice person who has had weight loss surgery and then had plastic surgery afterward can kindly refer you to their surgeon. Many of us have had the need of their services because we were very successful 'losers.' Many of us no longer need cardiologists and endocrinologists but do need plastic surgeons...mainly because the weight loss surgery saved our lives and made it possible for us to look forward to the future. Best wishes to you....may your 'elective surgery' be as successful as my own and that of many others I know.

You know what stinks....... a good friend lost a LOT of weight the hard way by diet and working out. Kept it off as well and now has a problem maintaining weight. What really stinks is the insurance will NOT pay to have the excess skin removed. So she has this huge flap of skin that can cause major problems if not kept cleaned all of the time that the insurance refuses to pay to have removed. The surgery would be a lot easier on someone that gastric bypass, lap band or whatever and it would help her health. Her health improved after she lost weight but they won't cover this and there is an EASY fix.

I had 3 surgeries in the same spot, I have a very painful and bad scar about 5 inches long. My doctor told me a cosmetic surgeon would have to fix it but did not refer anyone

Give Dr. Ramsey Choucair a call. He did a facelift on my mother. She was a lifetime smoker and her goal was to look like a woman her age who had not smoked. Also our goal was not to have her look like Joan Rivers. He did a great job. I went in for the consultations with my mother and was there also post-op. Here is his website Dr. Ramsey J. Choucair
His experience and credentials are excellent. I think you will also really like him.
If he cannot help you, he should be able to refer you to someone equally as reputable.
Good luck.
