Hello:

For my home insurance this year, I have a standard HOB. Liberty Mutual offered me a lower rate for next year but that is 'broad form policy'.

For more or less the same coverage amounts how do they differ and which is better for houses in DFW area?

TIA!

Hmm. If memory serves me correct, the broad form has fewer coverage grants, meaning if you want something specific, like increased jewelry coverage, you'll have to add it by endorsement and pay additional premium.

You might find this link helpful: insurance counsel A policy comparison prompt is shown at the bottom of the page. I see the HO-B, but not Liberty Mutual's broad form... Could it be the HO-3?
