There are at least 3 condo complexes in Rockwall that are lakefront, plus several in Garland but they are older. The old original Faulkner Point condos can sometimes be bought pretty cheap, but most of these are around 25-30 years old. Go to realtor.com and search for condos in Garland and Rockwall for more info on these units on Lake Ray Hubbard.

That's at Richland Chambers Lake, which is in Corsicana. It's over an hour away from Dallas, and really can't even be considered part of the DFW metroplex.

If they want a real lakefront community with boating, sailing, marina, etc.
Lake Ray Hubbard is the only immediate Dallas area lake with condos and full lake access.

Lake Ray Hubbard is the first that comes to mind and the Richland Chambers Lake just south of us.

There is one on the Arlington side of Lake Arlington. It's surprising that they don't clean up mountain creek lake.
