Yeah...couple of nights back...Thats was a real Storm...IT left Huge trees down, Car ports destroyed, loose brick and shingles displaced all the way from Plano to Desoto...
I did hear there was a tornado in Plano today, as well as Desoto...the areas in between looked just as bad...I should take picture and post them...and I don't live in Plano or Desoto.
Most Tornadoes are F0-F2. People largely exaggerate the threat of Tornadoes...
The Storm 2 days back is one of the worst storms I've actually witnessed.
One a couple of years back, it had hail the size of grapefruit...no joke...it rained hard...the sirens were on...then...it all was quiet...no rain...no hail...it just suddenly stopped...all you could hear is the wind...nothing was in the air...no debris...but at that moment I knew that there was a tornado hovering over us...maybe not directly...but It scared the absolute crap out of me. The sirens didn't come on until several minutes later, but regardless if they were on or not...I knew something had gone wrong...turns out the tornado did not touch down...at all...so there were no reports of one...but the next day the street was littered with small twigs and fresh spring green leaves...this was I think about 5 years ago?
The other one didn't hit me personally as bad, but it did destroy dt fort worth... oh and if you take the interstate between dallas and Fort Worth, there is a section in tarrent country where there was a tornado...I passed by the day after...it was bad...but not horrible...the houses were still up. The damage is still there if you pass by.
but other then those two storms...and that storm a couple of days ago... that was the worst I've seen...in what 15 years of living in Dallas?
