I have said for years that I do not want to pay someone to do something I can do myself. The problem is not that I cannot clean my own house, I simply no longer have the time as my mother recently suffered a stroke and I have not spent much time at home, and when I have been home I have been too tired to contemplate cleaning the whole house.

If anyone could recommend a good, reliable housekeeper who works in the north Dallas/Richardson area and who has a free day once a week or once every other week, I would appreciate it very much.

Thank you.

I actually used someone last Saturday for the first time. I was quite impressed as she cleaned me entire house for $60 (I gave her an extra tip $20 ($80 total) because she really worked hard).
PM if anyone wants her info. She is looking for houses to clean/new clients

Thank you; I was managing OK before but I like my house to be pretty spiffy and there are not enough hours in the day. When mom (and dad for that matter) is back on her feet, if ever, then maybe I can relax a little but for now housework is taking a backseat and I am tired of my house being grubby. It adds to the stress.
