I'm thinking of installing R-30 Ultra touch insulation, a recycled denim product, in my attic. Does anyone know of a place that sells this product in the DFW area?

I could buy it online, but I need a lot of it and I don't want to pay for shipping. Thanks!

did you google for info
this is company web site and there is distributor in Dallas
Natural Cotton Fiber Insulation, Natural Cellulose Insulation Distributor Search (http://www.bondedlogic.com/search.aspx - broken link)

that being said--when I checked the PBI site I did not see the insulation you are inquiring about so maybe you have to call to see if it is possible to get it from there--maybe it is no longer distributor or it is just specialty item that few people ask about

you could email company directly though

This sounds like something Green Living would sell. They are located in the Lakewood Shopping Center.

Thanks, I'll check out Green Living. And loves2read, thanks for the info. After you mentioned PBI, I went through the site and found it at the bottom of this page: http://www.pbisupply.com/SHOPONLINE/...0/Default.aspx

at least it is a place to start

if you are not wanting to install yourself you might try calling some of the better regarded companies that do house energy audits and retrofit them
