So anyone have any suggestions for a very small (2nd for both of us) wedding. we are really only looking to get married with the two of us and our four children. Not really keen on a court room wedding.

A lot of churches will allow you to be married in their sanctuary for a fee.

Where are you located, do you want a religious ceremony? There are a ton of options for a small wedding, give us a little more information on what you might be looking for.

Good luck and congratulations!

Friends of mine had a small renewing of vows in the Jade Room at the Anatole.

The Arboretum has several spots for weddings. One is for weddings smaller than 20-25 people which would work great for you if you are open to an outdoor wedding. Beautiful in spring & fall months! Then pick a favorite restaurant for dinner afterwards to celebrate.

Round Grove chapel in Lewisville is cute. Check it out. They do lots of weddings. You could also consider an outdoor wedding at a local park in the fall.

I got married to my beautiful wife at the Dallas Arboretum and thought it was fantastic. We didn't really do any setup, just used the gardens to provide the natural backdrop of color, which despite being November they excelled in achieving. Never would I have thought that November would have so much color, but I think there were more items, not necessarally in bloom, but with striking color. They had spots for about $200 that are standing room only, and a gazebo or two that they can put chairs in for a bit more.

It was very easy to get a spot and deal with them. You should at least give them a call and see what they can do.
