We're interested in a summer place to use for retirement somewhere near the shore (not on the shore) between Lewes to Bethany Beach. I'm not sure yet if we'd want a condo or single family- but it would have to be one story- no stairs.

I've noticed there seems to be a lot of places where you rent the land. Any of the RE search sites I've found do not have a provision to exclude those listings.

Does anyone know of a public access site where you can see listings and exclude the land rentals? I don't want to bother a RE Agent at this point since I'm not sure we're even going to go to DE. Just want some preliminary costs.

SafeMLS Scout Error Click on the details and look for fee simple

PS NJ has the shore, DE has beaches.

Ah! You can tell what state we're currently in. Thanks for the link.

I think you posted that link in another thread. While it's very comprehensive, I was hoping one of the search parameters would exclude the houses from the list so I wouldn't have to go into the details of each listing.

It will not be that easy. Some of the listing do not tell you there is ground rental fee.

Not a coincidence. That site is basically bait to encourage calls to Realtors. I pay for that service, and it is very comprehensive....from allowing to select "fee simple" or "leasehold" to other refined selections.
