How soon to move when relocating for a job

Lucky you! It's a beautiful setting. Deerfield Country Club (open to the public) has the best Sunday Brunch in the area (like most of the county). If you're a golfer, the public course is very nice, if extremely hilly by Delaware standards. There's a very good restaurant, Skipjack, in the shopping center across the street from your building. That shopping center also has a good wine store and if, I remember correctly, a gourmet cheese place.

That's not a great location for proximity to I-95. I'm not even sure which would be the closest exit -- probably Route 273 if you're heading north, and 896 or even the Elkton MD exit off Elkton Road if you're heading south.

Referring back to your comments about easy access to South Jersey and Philadelphia . . . only you can decide whether you want to live close to your work, for an easy commute, or farther so that your commute is longer but your evening or weekend activities might be closer.
