I am almost 24 and had brace on both my top and lower teeth for a year. Got it removed 2 months back, but now my gums are really swollen, have receded a lot, and there is gap between teeth and gums. I cant even eat properly due to the gap in gums around the molars. My dentist says that u will have to live with it now. My health is suffering because of it as I cant eat. I am already under weight. Any Advice ?

Default Bleeding gums after wearing braces

I had the similar case few years ago. It is caused by bacteria which grow when we wear braces because it is difficult to clean the teeth and gums. My dentist could not do anything. Since I use Oral Botanica, my problem is solved. I replace my toothpaste with Oral Botanica since then. My receding gums improves. Maybe you should give a try. Check it at Gum Bleedings and Bad Breath: Causes, Symptoms, and Solution. Hope it helps....
