Crest 3D White Luxe Glamorous White Toothpaste

Is it safe to have this as my go-to toothpaste?

Also, how is their whitening mouthwash?

I used to use whitening toothpastes alot. My dentist told me to stop because of their abrasiveness. She told me to stick to the toothpastes that around 70%. Here's a chart http://www.williamsonperio.com/wp-co...ked-by-RDA.pdf

Additionally, I would occasionally develop a weird rash in certain areas around my mouth. Apparently, I was reacting to the whatever was in the whitening toothpaste. Since I switched, I no longer have those rashes.

I use a whitening toothpaste before I go to bed, but a regular toothpaste any other time. I've gotten complements on my teeth and my dentist hasn't said anything.

It's not a good idea to use a whitening toothpaste every day because it is abrasive. I tell my patients to use it no more than a week or two at a time. The chart that bande1102 posted is a great resource!

Check the back of your toothpaste. Does it have any warnings? Why are they there? The toothpaste I use has no warnings such as “Keep out of reach of children” and other. It’s harmless. I don't even rinse with mouthwash because the ingredients are good for the mouth. Mouthwash contains alcohol and it's not good for gums.

If you don't have any underlying issue with your gum or teeth, then it's just fine.

Look at the ingredients in commercial toothpastes, and read the negative results of them. Personally I have not purchased a commercial toothpaste in probably 15 yrs or more. Started buying at health food stores yrs ago and started with coconut oil toothpaste maybe 5 yrs ago.
