I've had Qwest for nearly 5 years now. I've never had an outage. My address is eligible for 40m service here in Alamo Placita. I've been very happy with them and plan on staying.

Something of note: you don't have to pick the speed packages Qwest offers. I have their 12m download service with 5m upload. I'm an IT guy and its great for working from home!

Has anyone heard if Qwest is going to create a service similar to Verizon FIOS? For some reason, I thought I read it somewhere that they might be doing something like that, but now I can't find the article or post that said it.

Anyone tried forethought.net? I saw them mentioned in the Westword "Best of Denver." I'm moving in a few weeks and I'm contemplating switching providers from Comcast. Forethought.net charges $30 a month which is what I'm paying now for Comcast, but I'd rather not deal with Comcast customer service and price increases (which I know is coming for me soon).

If you go with Qwest, make sure you have a CO location near you since DSL speed is finicky with distance.

I have comcast and no issues with service, but I don't use it during the day so I'm not sure whether there are issues there. Occasionally there are throttling issues during peak times but I really only experience it once a few months. I probably use between 50-100gb a month. Speed is good, on my laptop I am usually 17-20 mbps down and 4 mbps up.
