Check out
Deerfield Apartments on S Quebec Way (on the edge of Denver proper...Aurora starts only a few blocks away.) We've lived here for almost 18 months now. The apartment manager is great (how's that for a nice change) and the area is relatively quiet, right around your price range. The biggest downside is location...as in we just aren't near much of anything, despite being smack in the middle of the metropolitan area. That said, getting around isn't difficult if you have a car.
