Even when it snows here, once the sun comes out it always seems to FEEL warmer than comparable temperatures elsewhere. I suspect the lack of significant humidity plays a role more than our altitude. The addage about going out in a T-Shirt on a sunny but snow covered day really can ring true.

One could, but you rarely see it except for school kids and people out shoveling a lot of snow or jogging. This one almost feels like an urban myth. Yeah its much warmer feeling than a Boston snowstorm but snow means a temperature of under 40 degrees and unless you are visiting us from the Artic I highly doubt that makes you feel nice and warm inside.

Thank you! I was saying this in another Denver thread and was getting attacked and criticized for it. Nice to see some other level headed, realistic people around here.
