I read a ton of threads on here and keep seeing it mentioned that there are good and bad areas. I've pretty much decided on this area for an apartment starting this summer. I wanted to be closer to the city but at this point I have done hours and hours of research and haven't been able to find anything that looked both safe/clean and within my budget. I figured I would at least start out with a safe/clean area and then once I was more familiar with the city I could always move after the first year. It's also a fairly easy commute to work, which will be good for me b/c I am not used to the crazy traffic of Denver.

Are any of these areas I should stay away from? Any "good" areas? Any good places I may have missed? I'm ideally looking for rent to be between 850-1000 including pet rent (1 pet) and a garage for my car. I'm also assuming utilities (not including cable or internet) would be around or less than 100 a month, not sure how accurate that is...my total budget including rent and utilities needs to be 1100 max. All of these places fit the bill cost wise.

The Vintage at Hyland Hills-4901 West 93rd Avenue Westminster Colorado 80031

AMLI at Westcliff-9820 Westcliff Parkway Westminster Colorado 80021

Warwick Station-10305 Dover St, Westminster, CO 80021

Links at Legacy Ridge- 2710 Bruchez Parkway, Westminster, CO 80234

Camden Pinnacle- 1420 West 116th Avenue Westminster Colorado 80234

Links at Legacy Ridge has the highest ratings by far- but who knows, those could be written by staff, and that doesn't tell me anything about the area. Thanks!

Don't know anything about those areas, but this site is good for checking crime and incidents around certain areas

I would go with the highest ratings. All those areas are likely fine but ratings tell something about the management of the place.

My wife and I live in North East Westminster near 104th and Federal.

Really nice up here as long as your north of 104th.

The way I would break it down is this...

Anything north of 88th but west of Federal is nice (in general).

Anything north of 104th is nice (in general).

Stay away from the "Federal Heights" area (south of 104th between Federal and I-25).

Hope this helps.
