Default The definitive answer

Twelve Denver Neighborhoods With the Most Hipsters | Westword

"Which Denver neighborhoods have the most hipsters? The folks at FindTheBest.com tried to discover the answer based on the following criteria: number of cafes, yoga studios, people with bachelor's degrees, and residents between the ages of twenty and 34.
What follows is a photo-illustrated list of the twelve Denver neighborhoods with the highest hipster scores.
That's followed by a heat map that allows you to get loads o' data about these neighborhoods and more.
Including the ones with a comparative hipster shortage."

They are using bad criteria to define hipsters. What they need to use is:
--number of independent free trade organic coffee shops instead of number of cafes.
--number of bike sharing stations instead of number of yoga studios.
--number of trustifarians with bachelor's degrees from the "little ivies" instead of number of people with bachelor's degrees.
--number of residents between ages 20-34 who aren't living in their parents house.

They should also add to their criteria:
--number of beards, tatoos, and black frame glasses per capita.
--number of car sharing members per capita.
--percentage of bars serving PBR (for the times you want to drink "ironically.")
--number of brew pubs.

That would give this list a who lot more credibility.

Hipsterism - the non-conformist movement where everyone looks the same. Irony.

No.
When you want to drink cheaply and don't care about taste.
That is me.
The wife always yells at me when I order a PBR and tells me I can afford better. But, my retort is: price / performance(alcohol content).

PBR is a great beer to drink while mowing the lawn.
