My husband was offered a job in Denver. We are currently in Illinois. I have a 14 yr. old freshman with an IEP due to some special needs. What schools in Colorado are good with this type of child?

You should ask this in the Denver forum.

Like most things, it depends.

With an IEP, you are going to want to interview the Special Education department to find out how the school deals with IEPs, if the SPED department is overwhelmed (too many IEPs for the staffing), and how the department works with teachers to provide support.

Good luck.
