Check out the Wheatlands and Beacon Point as well. Same area, but on the northern side of Smoky Hill Ridge. Pine Ridge Elementary is a good school. All 3 of our kids have spent at least a year there. The down side is the school is on the year-round track system because it's way over capacity.

Good luck with your search! And if you're looking at schools, don't look on zillow for school ratings. It claims it gets the ratings from Great Schools but the numbers currently do not match. At least not for 80016. Go directly to GreatSchools.org for the information.

I second SE Aurora and recommend Pine Ridge elementary. We have kindergarten aged kids and choiced into the school because we like the track system. So glad we did. We have been so impressed with how much our girls have progressed. Other elementary schools in the area seem to be all good.

Ok. Great. Thank you very much. I will call Pine Ridge on Tuesday and talk to the school counselor. Se Aurora definitely looks great. This move is overwhelming and your suggestions really make a big difference!!!
