Hi Residents,

Kindly help me to find a good apartment near Greenwood Village, CO. I will be working from the below address "E Orchard Rd, Greenwood Village, CO 80111". I am expected to move-in by end of Apr 18.
My family is comprise of Me, Wife & Son (1.5 year).

I am looking for an apartment / house with:
1. Indian (Asia-India) Families in Neighborhood
2. Close to Public Transport.
3. Close to Kindergarten & Indian Grocery
4. 1 or 1.5 BHK rent less then $1300

Kindly suggest.

Thanks

Look around Dayton and Peakview, there's a cheap looking apartment complex (and a bunch nearby) called Copper Terrace. I'm not sure if less than $1300 is doable in GWV though, even for a 700 sqft 1BR. There is an Indian grocery store on Arapahoe Rd near Home Depot, you will be close to that (walkable) and not too far from lightrail station. Preschool/Daycare you will need transportation unless you find a close in-home one. Pretty diverse area, the homes to the north have a lot of SE Asians while the apartments have more Latinos. You can get an idea by looking at the closest elementary schools and checking demographics.

Your toughest challenge is going to be your rental budget. Greenwood Village is not a low-cost area. I think Moonwalkr's recommendation is the best for the area. Go to padmapper.com and enter in your zip code of 80111 to get an idea of what's available.

How close to public transport do you want to be and what kind of public transport? To go to shopping, or what?

My kid goes to Campus Middle, it's about 10% Asian. That is about as good as you're going to get in Denver.

Thanks every one for your responses... if apartment are little far also fine but if has public transport then it will be fine. Immediately I might not be able to get a Car. public transport is mainly to commute from office to home and to market place. School is not priority at this point for me has my kid is only 1.5 year old.

How is the climate in Denver is it very cold throughout the year do we need lot of winter cloths
