Hello, i am also looking to move within this year and am looking towards the denver area. I would much rather live in a suburb if possible, but really just a smaller community. I currently live in Amarillo Texas, been here all my life and need a change. The weather here is diffrent from day to day,so weather isn't much of a problem just like cold all the time. Looking for a new place to live and start my new family. Any help is good help for me i'm very new to all of this. Thanks(-:

As others have said, you need to provide more information.
My wife and I moved to Highlands Ranch, which is south of Denver, five months ago. We love it, and it is EXTREMELY family-oriented. Schools are great, and nearly everybody has kids. There is some new construction, but not much. There is open-space around us, but youre not in the foothills of the Rockies as you are in a place like Golden.
North of Denver, there are plenty of family-oriented communities with more new construction than youll find in Highlands Ranch. We just didnt find it as developed as we liked.
West of Denver you have Golden, which is MASSIVE. Youre closest to outdoor activities here, but again, since it's so big, it's hard to make generalizations as to whether you can find affordable, new construction housing that would please you.

Because it's not nearly as expensive as anywhere on the West Coast, the weather is better than Vegas, Phoenix, or West Texas, and it doesn't have the humidity of the other half of the nation(also cheaper than plenty of jobcenters in the North East and upper Midwest/Northern US)
