HI,

I will be moving to Colorado to attend DU as a graduate student. Ideally I would like to have a roommate and a two bedroom house or apartment that is not in an area where most undergrad students live.
I have heard Washington Park is a good place to look. Any ideas of where to look or how to start my search would be much appreciated.

Fellow DU graduate student here. Look online at DU's graduate resources. There are many housing options including people searching for roommates

Padmapper is officially dead, absorbed and killed by Zumper.

Zillow is the best resource nowadays

About a year ago the phone stopped ringing for our Padmapper and Craigslist ads.
One clue to Zumper/padmapper's desperation-- they are pinching content from Airbnb. SAD!

It sounds like you are looking for space as a roommate, not to rent something. I agree with whoever said to check with DU and see if they maintain any lists of other students in your program who are looking for a roommate. When I started law school, I found a roommate when I started talking to someone in line in front of me at registration.
