Default BabySitting Co-Op?

I am in between Parker and Lone Tree and am looking for a babysitting co-op. I've seen them for very specific neighborhoods, but that doesn't do me much good as I am apprently in none of the *chosen* neighborhoods!

Any ideas?

I never heard of it but this is a great idea.

I wish restaurants had something like this whereby parents could off load their kids somewhere in the facility (like a play room or playground like Joes Crab Shack) and the parents can enjoy a peaceful hour or so. Hire high school kids for $10/hr to watch dozens of kids. I don't know why this concept isn't flourishing.

To Charles: A babysitting co-op is a club (for lack of a better word) where people trade babysitting for "points" not pay. I belonged to one when my kids were little. When we moved to Albany, NY, I helped start one through the local newcomers club. That's what I would recommend to dmwbcc if you can't find one to join.

Have you looked up the local MOMs Club in your area? Many times they will have a babysitting co-op or you can suggest one once you join. For more information and to find a chapter visit International MOMS Club
