I have actually searched the threads and have'nt seen the answer I am looking for. SO any helpful advice would be great. We are looking to relo to Denver Co area from PA (outside Phila). I have 3 kids from kindergarten, 3rd, to 5th. We are very active in Sports. We all ski, snowboard, my kids swim compet., my youngest is in gymnastics,my hubby fly-fishs', and I am a Triathalete. My main question is where is a couple great areas to live in around or in Denver ( my husband will be working in Denver and wants a short commute) for schools and such sports? We are looking for a community with a large community center/pool (like a YMCA) with a swim team ect. Of course awesome schools (we are in East Coast schools now), but a small school population/ family oriented area. We are looking to stay in the $300-400's. We love local cafe's/eatery's/stores and areas with character. I am also a Pediatric NP, so need a hospital nearby. Thanks for the help!

How about a list where you couldn't have all that?

You might have a look at my neighborhood, Bradburn Village in Westminster. Off 120th ave between Federal and Sheridan. 20 minute commute downtown by express bus or 30-40 min by car. We just had our kids' triathalon this past weekend (60 kids!) which is a very fun event.

Bradburn is a new urbanist neighborhood which means it's mixed use and walkable. There are many restaurants/shops/services in a 10 minute walk. Neighborhood is new but has interesting architecture. Great schools. Millions of kids--most elementary school age. Direct access to the Dry Creek Open space which has miles and miles and miles of bike/running trails. We have our own pool but also are very close to both city of Westminster rec center and Broomfield's Paul Derda rec center (has excellent gymnastics programs). Many people in neighborhood are runners/bikers (this is Colorado afterall). Several close hospitals including the very nice, new Exempla hospital in Louisville.

Houses in the 300-500 range. HOWEVER, neighborhood is super social and friendly and not a good fit for people who never want to speak to/know their neighbors.
