I am a 50 year old male who is considering a move to the Denver area..currently living in Kansas City but spent about 15 years living in Denver, moved out in 2001...single, no kids...while there are alot of questions here about moving to Denver, it seems most of them are either families or young college kids considering a move...

So, here are my questions and I would appreciate some feedback;

When I left Denver, it was booming....gridlock, housing prices going thru the roof....has that changed, leveled off, downsized a bit?

What is the employment picture like?

Having lived in Denver...I know there are some great areas, some really not-so-great areas...are there some decent areas that don't cost an arm and a leg to rent? please note, I am not interested in purchasing a home yet..

Okay, big question...being single, what is the nightlife like for someone who isn't a college age student? Meaning, are there places to go for someone in their 50's??? I am not a lounge lizard, like good music, etc...used to go out to El Chapultapec and some sports bars...and would appreciate impressions from other single guys around my age...there were alot of Cali women moving in when I left...

Okay, enough for now...I am sure I will have a ton of questions...and appreciate your input!

Thanks!
